Who am I Creating this for?

FOR MEEEE!!!! Yes, that’s the short and sweet answer of any creation that comes out of my head. But what about commission work? SAME!!! If I’m not feeling it why would I draw it? That & time can affect a commission but that’s not what this article is about.

Creative works should be thought of just for your own enjoyment! FACT! Why should I care what you think? Pieces of illustrations that I did now have to be scrutinized by those who see it online or in print? Yes but who cares since at the end of the day you’re happy with it.

The only opinion that counts is yours. But people can have an opinion that can make your work better right? YES! But only if you want to change. If you wrote a word on paper and I wrote the same word our handwritings would be different but it’s the same word. Style is what makes the art different & even stand out.

Now, if you draw like dog-s#!t but you love it then I say continue! It doesn’t matter what others think of your work as long as you dig it. Oh, there will be disagreements on this and thats fine too but in the end, your honesty towards your own work is what matters.
